My Ikenobo Ikebana No. 17

Today’s ikebana featured chrysanthemums on Sept. 9, 2026, a special day for the flower, also seen as good luck, which always has the other side of bringing bad luck. A piece of wood, painted black by my teacher Mr. Okada, serves as a dramatic vase, as it has lots of holes that can hold a sponge soaked with water.
