My Ikenobo ikebana arrangement Oct. 7, 2026 uses a carved out little pumpkin for the vase. It’s a colorfully humorous reference, my teacher says, to Halloween and, of course, the autumn season. He thought the flower should have been more purple to match the orange. But I told him the blue was also nice, giving it a modern feel.
